One of the photographic albums acquired for Melbourne in the early 1860s, this includes views of Venetian architecture and reproductions of several famous Venetian paintings. Plates 1-13, larger in scale, comprise a fairly conventional set of views of the city. Plates 14-35, smaller in size, include various details such as the example reproduced here.
