Waring Manchester Art Treasures 1858 {1858} SLV [IB]

Trained as an architect and illustrator, Waring collaborated with Wyatt on the handbooks for the Byzantine, Medieval, Renaissance and Italian Courts in the Crystal Palace at Sydenham (1854).

Waring was then appointed superintendent of the works of decorative art and sculpture in the Manchester Exhibition (1857), editing the 1858 commemorative volume listed above.

Later, he worked on various similar exhibitions and publications.
