Willmore was one of the main engravers responsible for the prints after S.T.Gill included in Victoria Illustrated, first published in 1857 by Sands & Kenny, Melbourne, and described in publicity as “the most magnificent specimen of Engraving and Binding ever offered to the Australian public.” A second edition followed in 1862Other engravings were by James Tingle (active c.1830-60).
